I have had an interest in complementary therapies for many years and have worked with food intolerance testing for the last four years. Although I still work in this area, I decided to train in MLD as I was personally very impressed by its effects and range of treatment.

I trained in the Dr Vodder Basic technique with the Vodder Schule approved tutor, Sarah Bellhouse and then completed my Therapy 1 training with Deborah Berry. I completed my Therapy 2 and 3 training in Combined Decongestive Therapy at the Vodder Schule in Austria in June 2010.

I have been involved in horses all my life, I became the third person in the UK to train with the Veterinary University at Hannover, Germany in Equine MLD, Instructed by professor Dirk Berens von Rautenfeld, A veterinary surgeon who has made the study of the equine lymphatic system his life's work. This course was accredited by The European Seminar on Equine Manual Lymphatic Drainage (Berlin, Munich and Hannover).

I am a Member of the British Lymphology Society (BLS) and am fully insured with Balens Insurance Limited. I am also a Member of MLD UK, a governing body of MLD practitioners that exists to provide support for therapists and patients. MLD UK provides lists of therapists trained to the appropriate standards and offers training in the UK. MLD UK practitioners subscribe to the Practitioners Code of Practice and Ethics.
